Start From Scratch was born May 16, 2017 at GreenMount Farm, and is a Maryland-bred son of Grade 1 winner and sire Discreet Cat. He is out of Curlin’s Needle, a Sam-Son Farm-bred mare from the family of Champion Eye of the Sphynx and classic winner Eye of the Leopard who is inbred 4×3 to the “Blue Hen” No Class.
Start From Scratch was prepped and consigned by GreenMount Farm as hip 105 in the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Yearling Sale, where he sold to our friends at Wasabi Ventures Stables.
