This colt was foaled March 10, 2019, at GreenMount Farm and is a Maryland-bred from the first crop of the Grade 3-winner and G1 Preakness-placed Divining Rod, out of Wild For Love, an eight-time winning daughter of Not For Love whose dam, Sticky, was a three-time stakes winner while her second dam, Hair Spray, was a Grade 3 winner.
Raised at GreenMount while his dam was bred back to Maryland’s current leading stallion, Great Notion, in a Housatonic Recommended Mating that you can read about here, this colt was sold to Bird Mobberley Stable and trainer John Salzman upon weaning, and he will eventually race for them in Maryland.
