Drink Deeply was foaled April 9, 2022, at Murmur Farm, and is a Maryland-bred by the “freaky fast” Bucchero, who was at his best as a turf sprinter but also won going long on dirt, too, and is now the sire of G1W Book’em Danno, among numerous other SWs. This filly is the second foal out of So Dear, who is a half-sister to G1 winner Silver Wagon and multiple SW Rehoboth.

She sold with her dam on Wanamaker’s in June 2022. In October 2023, we bought back into her after she was purchased by our friends at Ironhorse Racing Stable (who raced and stand Bucchero) and will ride along for her racing career! After being started by Zoe Valvo at the Middleburg Training Center, Drink Deeply made her first few starts for trainer Kelsey Danner at Colonial and will spend the winter in Maryland with trainer Mike Trombetta.
