Acquired for $10,000 at the 2019 Keeneland November Sale, Hurryupandcomeback comes from a deep and active female family that makes her an exciting broodmare prospect. She was purchased in foal for the first time, on a February 24th cover to the unbeaten Grade 1 winner Army Mule. You can see the catalog page from her purchase here.
The unraced Hurryupandcomeback is a half-sister to the multiple stakes winner White Flag, who finished 3rd in the 2019 Highlander Stakes-G1 and has placed in two other Graded stakes. Another sibling, Noble Hope, was a maiden special weight winner in June ’19 and looks potentially stakes class, while there is also a 2YO full-sister to White Flag named Stop War training towards her debut for the same connections.
Hurryupandcomeback’s second dam is the Grade 1 winner Shared Interest, who is also the dam of Grade 1 winner Cash Run (dam of stakes winner Great War Eagle and two international champions, as well as second dam of 2019 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies-G1 runner-up Donna Veloce) and Grade 1 winner and leading sire Forestry. Another daughter has produced Grade 2 winner Golden Spikes and stakes winner Al Muhtasib, and is the second dam of 2019 black-type 2YO Bella Aurora. Shared Interest is a half-sister to multiple Grade 1 winner Sewickley.
Hurryupandcomeback is by Mizzen Mast, a Grade 1 winner and top sire for Juddmonte Farms, who is also proving a successful broodmare sire.
After delivering a Maryland-bred Army Mule foal this coming January, Hurryupandcomeback will be bred back to the Grade 1 winner and millionaire Force the Pass.
