Hot Mom Rom Com was born February 13, 2025, at Willow Hill Equestrian in Virginia (our first Virginia-bred foal), and is the latest foal out of our “foundation” mare I’m Engaged, making her a half-sister to six winners from six to race, including Doesn’thurttoflirt, A Ring Thing, Postnup, etc. She is a daughter of our favorite Mid-Atlantic stallion, Blofeld, meaning she’ll be eligible for the Maryland Million series at the re-built Pimlico when she reaches the races in 2027, in addition to qualifying for the lucrative Virginia-bred bonus scheme. We are planning to race Hot Mom Rom Com in our own colors, and she will head to Susan Cooney’s training center in Virginia (with Middleburg set to close) in the latter half of 2026 to begin her pre-training, before hopefully heading to the track in 2027 with a trainer that is still TBD.
