A winner of his only start while earning the highest Beyer Speed Figure ever awarded to a first time starter, Maclean’s Music has now ascended to a place among the upper echelon of stallions, having stood for a $50,000 live foal fee in 2022 and 2023 (with a total of 340 mares bred in those two books). He also has yearlings of 2023 from a book of 221 mares at a $25,000 fee, and the first four of those through the sales ring this summer have averaged over $135,000 (good for 6th among all stallions at this very early juncture). Maclean’s Music’s best runners include the G1W and Champion Sprinter Jackie’s Warrior (now a $50k stallion himself), G1W Complexity (first crop yearlings of 2023), G1W Drain the Clock (covered first book in 2023), and first-crop Preakness winner Cloud Computing. Maclean’s Music is a son of the leading sire Distorted Humor, out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Forest Music. He stands at Hill ‘N’ Dale Farm.
