Yesterday was a big day for Housatonic Recommended Purchases, with no less than FOUR winners closely connected to mares that we’ve picked out: First off, our homebred filly Doesn’thurttoflirt, out of our original broodmare purchase I’m Engaged, scored her fourth career victory and increased her earnings to over $100k with a #MDBred allowance victory at Laurel for trainer KMR Racing Stable – Kelly Rubley Thoroughbred Trainer. Then, at Delaware, Concrete Faze scored her sixth lifetime win and increased her earnings to $176k. She’s the second foal out of our broodmare purchase Faze the Nation. Meanwhile, at Monmouth, He’s In Charge won for the eleventh time and brought his career earnings to $335k. We purchased his dam, Brazen Persuasion, on behalf of CJT Stables this past November. And finally, Eldest Son, a half-brother to Zarella — who we purchased on behalf of Wasabi Ventures Stables in 2022 — scored his seventh career victory in a Gulfstream allowance and now has earned just shy of $300k.
